Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code for shared logic across Android and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the implementation of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and services efficiently.
  • Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Maintain the shared codebase and ensure compatibility with platform updates.
  • Work closely with backend developers to align mobile application requirements with backend functionality.
  • Collaborate with Android and iOS developers to ensure seamless integration and native compliance.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Implement automated testing for shared logic and ensure coverage across platforms.
  • Address and resolve bugs and issues reported by QA teams.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile and mobile development.
  • Recommend and implement best practices to enhance application performance and developer productivity.

Requirement:

  • Proven experience as a Kotlin developer with expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
  • Strong knowledge of Android and iOS development concepts and frameworks.
  • Experience with dependency injection, coroutines, dispatchers and extensions.
  • Familiarity with tools like Xcode, and IntelliJ IDEA/Android Studio for KMM projects.
  • Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., JUnit, XCTest).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with platform-specific nuances (e.g., Objective-C, Swift and Swift UI for iOS, Jetpack Compose for Android).
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of other cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native.
  • Contribution to open-source KMM projects.
