About the Project
Amaka is a salon booking app designed explicitly for businesses such as nail studios, beauty parlours, and hair styling. The app allows users to select the service providers from their nearby location and easily avail of the services.
On the other hand, the vendors can quickly add their services and the category of their service offerings on the mobile app. Moreover, the vendors can easily manage the salon’s business activities.
Client Requirement
The client came up with a problem statement related to the salon’s business functions. They wanted to build a mobile app solution where the customers and salon providers could be on the same page about bookings.
The service provider can easily add the categories and services they want to include in their salon business.
The mobile app platform must track all the essential activities like service history and upcoming appointments.
Core Features
Appointment Made Easy
Amaka mobile app allows users to book an appointment for their selected Vendor. On the other hand, the Vendor needs to accept or reject the appointment based on availability.
Quick Registration
The user registration process is very easy for both the customers and vendors. In addition, the app includes social media integration like Google, Facebook, and Apple ID.
Grab Salon Services Smoothly
For the user’s convenience, the Amaka app allows the users to select the service, book an appointment, share feedback, and, most importantly, track the history of services taken.
Voucher
The Vendor has an option to include the voucher facility for the specific service. In addition, the Vendor can offer a voucher facility for all the services. It entirely depends on the Vendor’s decision.
The Business Challenge
Designing and building a mobile app solution for salon businesses by considering the various factors that bring convenience to customers and vendors.
Managing the different categories and services is one of the complex activities the vendors typically need to take care of.
From the vendor’s perspective, it was pretty challenging for the client to include all the services and categories in one mobile app.

We crafted a robust and responsive mobile app solution that helps customers and vendors to operate the app smoothly.
The customers can easily find the list of vendors available nearby. They have to select the vendor and their related service.
We created a single platform where the vendor informs the super admin to include any additional category for their salon business.
